With the option of an extra bed, the suite accommodates up to three guests.

Located on the 2nd floor of the property, the 2 rooms reveal the nostalgic style of the early period of “Showa ( 1920s)”, the era when the town of Arima was a vacation hot-spot for early foreign visitors. The rooms feature a beautiful ambiance with tasteful wooden floorings, and sliding glass doors that suffuse a soft and soothing brownish-golden light.

Located on the 2nd floor, the room has a similar atmosphere to that of the standard western style Twin bed room, however slightly spacious with an extra sofa bed for a triple occupancy.

Located on the 1st floor. The room features a traditional Japanese style with Tatami flooring and Shoji window screens, and elegantly incorporates 2 beds instead of Futons. The “bed on Tatami” style is typical to the “Meiji period” which is marked by the harmonious blend of western and Japanese culture. It is also the authentic signature style of Hotel Hana Koyado since 1999, before it spreads as a trend to other Hotels and Ryokans. The room offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect to savor a cup of green tea while lying down on the wooden veranda facing a soothing mini garden.

The innermost room on the 1st floor, facing the private hot-spring bath “ Tsutabasu, or Ivy Bath”.
This room is similar but slightly more spacious than the standard Japanese Tatami twin bed room. It features additional barrier-free details, and offers a soothing and use-friendly space especially for people with physical difficulties.

Located on the 2nd floor, with views onto the entrance garden and the Onsen Shrine, this suite offers a soothing home far from home atmosphere. It includes a futon & tatami room, a twin bed room, and a living room, all designed in the refined and relaxing style of the “early Showa”. This suite room can accommodate 2 to 6 guests (Twin beds and 4 futons).
