Located by the side of the stairs of Arima Onsen Temple, the Ryokan-like hotel offers a unique combination of Japanese sense of Beauty and convenience of the modern hotel system. The building is old Japanese wooden style harmoniously blended with a nostalgic western flair that celebrates the early period of Japan’s opening to the world. Once into the entrance with dimly lit corridors, a mystic and warm atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy the facilities in all intimacy.

Western Style Rooms- Twin bed room -

Located on the 2nd floor of the property, the 2 rooms reveal the nostalgic style of the early period of “Showa ( 1920s)”, the era when the town of Arima was a vacation hot-spot for early foreign visitors. The rooms feature a beautiful ambiance with tasteful wooden floorings, and sliding glass doors that suffuse a soft and soothing brownish-golden light.

Located on the 1st floor. The room features a traditional Japanese style with Tatami flooring and Shoji window screens, and elegantly incorporates 2 beds instead of Futons. The “bed on Tatami” style is typical to the “Meiji period” which is marked by the harmonious blend of western and Japanese culture. It is also the authentic signature style of Hotel Hana Koyado since 1999, before it spreads as a trend to other Hotels and Ryokans. The room offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect to savor a cup of green tea while lying down on the wooden veranda facing a soothing mini garden.
